Since opening our business in April of 1997, CITY GARAGE, owner Rick Gorman has dedicated his profession to bringing automotive repair to the highest standards in the industry.

The Owner Rick Gorman has been fixing cars since 1972. A Graduate of F.I.R.S.T. (Fundamental Inspection Repair Systems Training) and E.D.G.E. (Emissions Diagnostician Graduate Education) and has received an ASE certification for Master Automobile Technician. Although he still loves fixing cars, he sees more of his time now spent overseeing the business and seeing to the needs of his customers.

Rick was born and raised in Alaska where he met his Wife Jan. They have one Daughter, Jamie. Rick and his family have lived here in Colorado Springs since 1991. Prior to moving to Colorado they lived in the Seattle area for two years where Rick started a Mobile Auto Repair Business. He continued his Mobile Repair Business here in Colorado Springs until the spring of 1998. It was in April of that year when City Garage opened for business. Rick remembers it well, "I had little more than a floor jack and a box of Tools". Today City Garage has a comfortable waiting area and enough tools and equipment to keep his customers cars running like new. Rick attributes his success to building a personal relationship with all his customers.

Jerry Bass is an ASE Certified Technician, with 37 years of experience in maintaining Cars and light Trucks. Jerry performs full automotive services, Diagnostics and Repairs to Domestic as well as Imported Vehicles.


Jerry was born and raised in California and comes from a long line of Automotive Mechanics. In 1972 Jerry joined the Navy. While serving during the Vietnam War he went on three west pack tours aboard the Carrier Constellation , and three mini tours aboard the Nimitz. Upon being honorably discharged from the Military Jerry settled in Arizona and pursued his Career in the automotive industry. In 2000 Jerry moved from Phoenix Arizona to Colorado Springs and in 2006 he and his wife Melody were married. Jerry has two daughters; Rebekah and Annjeri, who reside here in Colorado Springs.


Jerry has a strong commitment to high quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Jerry feels his level of expertise will contribute to repeat and referral business.
